Sony Xperia Z Review

Sony's 5-inch, full HD Yuga smartphone, which was recently showcased in a pair of leaked images, is said to be named as the 'Xperia Z'.

An Xperia Blog source claims that the Xperia Z name comes from a credible source, who provided specifications reminiscent of previous rumors; the smartphone will sport a full HD, 5-inch display, joined by Sony's TV technology, as well as being water and dust proof.

Said to have a 1920 x 1080 resolution, the device features a glass front and rear, and offers a microSD card slot and HDMI port.

Sony's Xperia Z apparently runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM, in addition to sporting a 12 megapixel camera.

The Japanese technology company, which is expecting to sell 50 million Xperia smartphone units next year, is also purportedly developing 'Odin', a smartphone featuring a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A CPU and an Adreno 200 GPU.
